(OK, on a side note, I know it's been said but that is a damn good background!)
I think it might be an anatomy thing. If you look, the upper arm on that guy is about as long as his entire leg. It has the effect of making his legs look very stubby compared to the rest of him.

If you cover up his arm, the rest of him looks decently proportioned. I'd say move the pocket up and shorten his arm (to give an example of proportion, when I stand straight upright with my arms to my sides, my fingertips end at about the middle of my thighs.

Sorry that i didn't clarify what help i need...

I'm happy with an anatomy, what really bothers me is the head and face. There're 4 different faces i come up with but none of them is quite right.
