Oldbie pixel art

on: October 01, 2006, 02:42:32 am
Does anyone have those isometric tactical characters Gustav made way way back saved?  While you're at it bring up anything else by Gustav, or Ironshins/shanks, please.

I'd give my left nut to see all of Gustav's pixel works again. His FFT style characters really blew my away. Sorry I can't help, I used to have a lot of his stuff but I have a fetish of cleaning my hard drive every 3 to 6 months. :'(

I'm pretty sure Ironshins came back (under a different name).

Find out what his new name is and just PM him.

Lackey is Ironshins, and I will see if i can chat with Gustav. Chances are he does not have it anymore himself.

One thing I got tho.

Some speccy stuff Gustav did some time ago when I hassled him to try it. Not sure if it's 100% error free.

And something he did for Isocity but did not submit so far, he might do something else he said.

I'm not sure, but this one might be a Gustav:

I might have more.... I'll look.

I know I probably have a few for ironshanks. I at least know I have some collabs he and I did. More later.

http://pixeljoint.com/p/5486.htm Graham Lackey (Ironshins/Ironshanks) is a dear friend of mine, and has a gallery in pixeljoint. I'll alert him to this threads' existence and he may contribute more of his art if he wants to. IF HE HAS THE STONES FOR IT

Gustav's in game school right now (and doing occasional work for GBA games). His MSN is chillmano@hotmail.com if anyone needs to get ahold of him.

I believe you're looking for these:

I got a bunch more of his stuff and Ironshanks stuff saved too but if Iron's still around then he might as well post (unless it's too old that he doesn't have it).

For my part I'm flattered.

I've been gathering the best my old work and I'd like to put it all online when I feel the motivation/think of a way to put them all on a webpage easily.

Sure.  I remember, before I reformatted, I had some sort of iso lobby or something  :-\...and I'm pretty sure it was by him.

That treehouse by Gustav is beautiful. All his work can't be lost forever, can it? Even if he doesn't have it, somebody must have more of it saved somewhere. No?

That fifth from the last one is the one I had...
