Fighter pose

on: September 29, 2006, 11:08:44 pm
I saw this peice in the gallery back at PJ.
And was inspired to make this...

I haven't figured out a good way to do the legs yet.

- The image updates every time I save it.

Sorry for the double post.
But I was wondering if anybody could do an edit sketch on the legs?
I just can't figure them out at all.

not that good, but does this help?

i think the problem is that you've got him looking hunched over but his legs are straight. that doesn't really look normal.

okay.... his upper body makes him look hunched over. and his legs just don't seem to fit with the body. so you need to bend his legs so it looks more.... normal

The legs look really short because of the long t-shirt.
It looks like they're all crunched together.

Ah, I see.. So I raised the knees, but the one on the left, was constently low.. :(  and rather too bent..

I'm not very good at people.

Well, Blick helped me with a more dynamic leg position back at PJ.

Double post again.
Just thought I'd list all the new updates...

-  Added LEGS thanks to Blick
- Thickened the legs
- Made some shoes, along with adding laces.
- Made the giant mouse weapon.
- Re-did some facial pixels (Made the nose smaller)

Sweet. Sorry I was unable to aid you with the legs, but they look awesome now.
The face looks better and the logo on the mouse is brilliant.. :D

Yes I do know there is a modify/edit button.
But it was also a scheme to try and get some C+C sooner cause the thread went down the page.

Hello Souly

how about this kind of leg pose? <don't mind the shoes, I know its big :P )  I also adjusted the characters elbows to make them more proportional to each other.

Or how about this one

Minor edit to the feet; The pose might be a bit .. non-anatomical now, but it's dynamic :D I felt I had the feeling that his feet should be a bit more leaning on the ground and maybe that he was standing almost on his toes, a battle:y thing :]

The knee also bugged me, i felt it didn't have a lot of shape, so to say. So a little edit there too :]

Hope it helps somehow. Good luck dammit 0:! And nice work so far.
