New Profile Picture

Hello and I made a profile picture for myself and I need critique.



Facts:

1st: I used at least 5 colors on this (I think?)

2nd: I dunno

Questions:

1st: I think there is a lot of banding going on in the binary text and the edges of the cube, so is there a way to fix this

2nd: Did I use enough AA (Anti-Aliasing) or not enough

I hope you can help me

(Also I haven't abandoned my basketball player forum. It's just that I am somehow having trouble with it (you can also see the link to it here: http://pixelation.org/index.php?topic=20111.0))
P.S: This info is not relevant but the binary in the box spells something kay?

I'm not really noticing any banding, you seem to have stumbled upon anti-aliasing practices here actually. It makes the edge of your cube seem much smoother at it's default size, which is always a good thing!
There WAS some cutoff on the binary at the bottom though, which I've repaired here:


Also, if you want an idea on how to make it more visually arresting, the cutoff on the binary along the front-facing edge of the cube could be used to start a partial wrap and have it sort of "fade off" around midway. I can do an example of that, if you like.
