I need opinions

So I decided to join the pixelation so that I could get opinions on my pixel art

Hey! I think you should post some of your artwork directly on this forum. Use imgur or whatever and post the img code here. Usually though, folks don't comment much on a post with dozens of images.

Anyway, I'm new to pixel art but I think your stuff is pretty good. I really like the mimic chest. Your animations look cool too. I don't play Terraria but it looks like it could belong in that world.

You need to pick some specific pieces you need help with and post them here, if we are to help you.

In general, looking over your art, I think you need to work on color palettes (too many straight primary ramps) and there's a fair amount of banding, but silhouettes and construction seem fairly solid.

Then there's the issue of course, that Terraria itself has very mediocre to bad graphics and you're expected to match its style.

this is weeird XD you know Temmie is the name of not just a character in Undertale but an artist who worked on it right? just....lettin ya know :p might want to fix that if you go into pixelart more seriously heh.

as for your art. you're doing some nice detailed props there, props! ba dum psh!

You could use putting some volume into them. in stead of a personal crit from me have this link to Proko talking about it :p

Yup most threads here die either:

a) there is nothing to critique / no images in the thread
(most people are lazy and don't awant to have more clicks, if they already opened the topic - myself included)

b) there is a dump of artworks in a thread and it's unclear what to critique/comment on.

From experience I'd say you get the best results out of a critique thread, if you post a single thing and also try to polish that / level that piece up.
Despite all of us love to teach, also conside rthat you will rely on the time of someone else, so please respect that.

yeah typically a single sprite or a few very similar sprites spaced neatly and evenly in a single image will usually attract more opinions and edits because we can just copy and paste 1 thing into our software.
