Anatomy practice gone wrong

on: August 23, 2006, 05:13:07 pm

I was trying for some anatomy practice and got fixated on having a floating baby attached to an umbilical cord.  I think of this as the missing scene from the movie "Junior".

Any how, I am trying to get my anatomy in shape, and crits and edits as well as any pointers would be great.

I know the hands are disproportionately big, but I had a hard time keeping them in scale and still achieving any detail. Any tips on pixel anatomy would make my day.

Thanks tons,

n.i.

Welcome to Pixelopolis.

I won't give you tips on anatomy, you'd most likely know more than me.

The monochrome palette makes it look less exciting than it could be.

Btw, practicing anatomy on a 70x56 pixel canvas doesn't make sense to me.

Heh, true, I guess it is more of a fidelity in anatomy at a small-scale practice, but that is soooo wordy. :)
