New Pixel Art Adventure Game

Hey everyone. My friend and I are just getting ready to announce our first indie game, a point and click adventure game in pixel art style. I've been producing pixel art for our game development for about two years now, but this will be the first time we will have released anything. I'm keen to join this community and get some tips (I feel like I've got a lot to learn about pixel art), as well as offer any assistance where I can.

For now, here's the first (TINY) screenshot from our game, which we will be announcing properly in the next week or so. Any comments or suggestions would be much appreciated.

Wow, it looks totally amazing! I love your colour palette man, and the high detail in the foreground contrasting with the simpler BG is pretty cool actually. Wouldn't have thought it would work so well!

I'm definitely interested in seeing more of your progress on this / more of your art. Sorry I can't offer any helpful advice, but I feel like I'm learning from you. I suck at environments, or at least getting colours to harmonize well together :/
