Second day second try

Hi,
i am a very early beginner.I saw not many tutorials but i wanted to trie something like a masked mage.
On the first day i created the left one and on the second day the right one.
 

I found this nice forum today and i start my research.
It would be awesome if somebody can give me some advices or maybe a nice link to a good tutorial.

I think they turned out quite nice, I like the subtle colors on first one better.
