they are voxel, they dont always allign to the grid but they are stored as voxels. a quadtree, probably.
textured voxels are voxels. rotated voxels are voxel. generated voxels are voxel.

but arbitrary 90 degree angles is a good restriction, kinda cute, very pixel

everything in minecraft is boxes, theres nothing that is not a box or a sprite or whatever. infiniminer is better than minecraft because it uses sprites more often and voxels less, and there's more detail (better detail) on the texels.

also, the music. kola kid's cash machine go. better than the minecraft music. also, the interface is better.

the restrictions on current-level contemporarytech (nowpunk) are pretty arbitrary and defined by older tech. older tech is more friendly
