Sushi pixels make it into their website

on: August 07, 2006, 06:19:40 am
Some of you may remember a little while ago I posted some pixel sushi and got some great feedback. Well here is what it was all for, an updated design for my portfolio website:

http://www.monteboyd.com/

The sushis are in there along with a few other pixel works including the sushi train conveyor and table, soy sauce bottle (clickable), chopsticks (clickable) and some stuff on the about page and contact page.

Cheers!

hey

Very impressive work, and the things you have done seem darn impressive :). Slope Rider looks interesting to me, as I've been trying to make my own 3D Skateboarding game (alike Tony Hawks). Did you code it yourself? Anyhows I don't have a Mac to check it out :-\, unless there is something alike WINE to run Mac programs???.

Thanks for the kudos!

yosh64 - yep I coded Slope Rider, did the graphics and sfx - I sometimes sit somewhere between graphic artist and programmer although graphics is definitely my main focus. But I can enjoy programming when I get to work on it. It uses OpenGL so should be fairly portable to PC, but unfortunately don't have a machine to work on. Nowadays you can run Windows on a Mac but not the other way around!

Yes you can: http://www.osx86project.org/

Anyway, excellent design!

That looks just so awesome, and that fact that is slowly scrolls like a sushi bar is just class.
