Made this lion using Arne's (Android Arts) custom pallette.

Finished this a bit ago, I just wanted to post something ;D

Duuuuuuuude.
Love that new daily sketch Ellian.
Awesome interaction!  :y:

Me and Probo were talking about it a bit.
And wanted to suggest the neck of the guy would be closer to the viewer than the bottom of the jaw.
It's an inner connection like a tube meeting a bigger tube from underneath.
Making it overlap in front.

Coincidentally I was missing the exact same type of wrap around form in my sketch, and we were talking about that as well just a few hours earlier.
I think this type of intersection is easy to miss in 2D.
Something that I want to try and pay attention to more.
But I don't think it's something I can catch every time on the first few passes.

That's a very valid point, ahah. Thanks!
(and that reference picture you chose to make your point is very interesting, especially since I'm at work, ohohohohoh~)

(yes I'm double posting, so what? This is way too quiet to make stealthy edits!)

I love drawing skulls. It might not be anatomically correct but hell, I don't care, it's a skuuuuuull

And I finished yesterday's drawing:

It has been years since I last did some serious 3D modelling, damn that was hard :blind: I definitely didn't miss the hour long "work until the geometry is fine" sessions.

I am using Blender. There isn't really much reason to use something different, both price and functionality wise.

They look pretty nice! I did try to get my hand in the bottom left position with the straight thumb and the thumb tip and the start of the index finger and I can't seem to manage it. Maybe I have weird hands but that was the only image off to me. Other ones seem great, cheers!
