First version is dead.

Recorded the drawing process with commentary and I found out the video resolution got messed up so you could only see half the screen.  I'm a genius

@yaomon17: The cape's shading is a little weird. It's not pillow shading, yet close enough that it throws me off... Love everything else though. The haircut is super dumb ahah  ;D

I'd post something here, but I'm mainly working on CATAM so I made a dedicated thread for that, as previously stated. :)

Thanks for the help with GraphicsGale guys... in the future I'll just let my niece f*ck up MS Paint. :P

Quick redesign of a character. I can't remember if I posted the original... doodled this while I waited for my computer to update/restart, shaded later.

Started working on the sprite. Don't really like the nose, gonna have to fix that. I hate arms and legs, so I stopped there.

EDIT:
Its 1 am here so I guess this counts for today's sketch...
First time in forever I actually sat down and spent about an hour drawing.

How were you able to get all those angles? Did you happen to have an actual skull around that you used for reference, or some website/program? (3D Model?)

I own a complete skeleton.

--

some more drawings, going ove rface anatomy.
Also drawing face anatomy on skulls,
Those are not the usual portraits one would draw, but rather it's like that I am drawing the base of the skull, try to get this one right just by observation (because the minor proportions of the skull change quite a lot) and I am considering then every muscle before I draw it in.
To add some difficulty I tried with the later ones to get close to the actual people and I also used an increasing difficulty with stronger facial expressions.
This method leads to some quite interesting observations.

"Because the beauty of the human body is that it hasn't a single muscle which doesn't serve its purpose; that there's not a line wasted; that every detail of it fits one idea, the idea of a man and the life of a man."

'fighter's quest'
Something I worked on for a bit; maybe it'll be something I retreat to here and there when bored with working on other more serious things.
