Eh, it's not very close to ptoing's way of exaggeration. He should be able to explain his decisions much better, but this might sum it up.

Part of making something interesting to look at, means creating interesting shapes. Bottom left creates a sense of weight with a large point of contact with the ground, the bottom right creates a feeling of lightness and levitation with a tiny point of contact. (which I'd compare to the sun with that wicked hair style). there is also much more variation as some body parts are greatly exaggerated or downplayed so interesting shapes are much easier to achieve. Your head, shoulders, hips, and feet are all equally exaggerated so FoxyLady appears as a boring rectangle.
I really don't think I'm in much of a position to really explain much of it, but there should be a fair number sources on the subject of composition if you were to hunt them down.
