well, its pretty simple but its pretty faithful to the official design, I'd love to see it animated though ;)

Thanks.
I might try an animation.
I need to work on my animation skills anyway.

it'd be cool seeing him move around in a circular path with the particles rolling off and his cape waving :)

oh haha, i was expecting something completely different, coincidentally just having beat oot's phantom ganon myself yesterday. never played wind waker. mhh the lack of tonal contrast makes it hard to distinguish parts if you don't know what you're looking for, cape and sword for example.

Yes, I'm aware of that.
I just didn't want to change his original style.
Which is.....black and blue outlines, nothing more.
I mostly used this as reference:

I'd say darken up the blue a bit and add some AA to get it that... unclean? look from the picture.

you can darken certain blue lines to distinguish the features a little better

original ganon is displayed in a much bigger size and it's obvious a big part of it is the line width variation, you should duplicate that by varying the line width and making good use of selout when the line width must be below 1 pixel wide.

Also, there is use of a blue gradient on his cape thing the picture to separate it from the torso of the character.....you obviously didnt really look deep enough into the style in which this was drawn and simply copied it on the most superficial layer.
