What hue shift?
Cool link, but shouldn't he be wearing a skirt? His armpit looks like a poncho or something, and his shoulders are too low. The hat comes out real funny-like, and the shadow is way off.

it shifts toward yellow for highlights, and blue for shadow.

its not that severe. the outline on the green is Bluer and the highlights get further towards yellow. I already said its not that noticeable.

yeah, its very slight, but there is hue-shifting happening.
as for the character itself, I think he is stiff looking, all his limbs are straight and his sword too. maybe a more dynamic pose would of been more interesting.
nice work though.
