I like the first one, I think if you'r going as small as the tiny one, why not go into a one pixel wide limb? like some sort of amiga sprite? instead of having the outline, just have the main color.
Image size doesn't matter! It's what you do with your pixels that counts!

thanks.. hm.. I think the outline kinda makes him cartoony-looking.. though I might experiment with it some more..

Alex, you don't need the quite big canvas for these. Please crop stuff before you post it. It's a bit annoying when zooming in.

I agree with Kazuya (welcome back) about the legs. They look a bit weird and noodly in the smallest version. Weird foot pose as well. Nice to see you pixelling again.

There are no ugly colours, only ugly combinations of colours.
