Stuff and so on

on: June 13, 2006, 08:21:51 am
Havent posted much stuff lately since I've been busy with work, but now that it is over, I thought I could so.
Here are some of the pics I havent shown yet (unless we chat or something)
Anyway:

Some logo I did for work.

Mascot I did for that same job, since they gave me freedom, I decided to add some pixel elements.
(This 2 are © Bravo Party Room Service)

The boss I did for that palette workshop thing, just took it away further, and colored with a broader palette.

Chu-chu animation, for something I was helping but did quit at the end.

Mascot that was supposed to be used for some work but scrapped and customized into something that looked like Falco (blame that I was looking at some Starfox videos for the DS) and added the Arwing just for the kicks.

Done for some friends who were looking for something to put on their band pin badges.

Not much but feel free to c&c.

haha, i only got the falco allusion now, don't know how i could have missed that. nice stuff, supersmooth as always. i really like the falcon and the mafia-boss pallettes, and just love the piggy-nose for some reason :D

the way the linewidth varies in the pin badge one reminds of kanji written with those huge brushes

Nice stuff! My favorite is the Pig - i like the colors and the AA. His pose seems very weird though, try to position his arm in another manner perhaps? It just looks unnatrual right now.

And not to sound like some smart-ass but i don't think that pixel-art is the right medium when designing logos like these, i think you should use some vector-program instead.

Thanks for the comments.

miascugh: Heh, I thought I told you it was supposed to be like a female-ish falco inspired bird, but *shrugs* maybe I didnt, Thanks for the comment, much apreciated.

AdamAtomic: Thanks, and glad it inspires you

dille: Thanks, The pig was supposed to be holding a pan, but due to the lack of space on the pamphlet, it had to go away. I guess I could have made something better, but didnt have time at that moment.
I'm aware that for logos vectors are more suited, but it was going to be a fixed (size wise) logo (on both Bravo, and Jaque a la Reina) so instead I thought I could pixel them instead of vector, just so I could practice.
Thanks for the comment.

@ Aleiav: Thank you :)

@ Alex Hanson-White: Thanks, I appreciate your comments, and I'm glad they are appealing to you.

@ Gas 13: Well, They both kinda look similar, so I guess it wouldnt take much to make an osmi out of it, but alas I'm busy with other stuff, heh. So maybe some other time. Thanks for the comment man.
