Hehe, I out some concepts together for a banana toss game a while back. Nice effort so far.

MONKEY
There's no timing in your animations. The roar appears to happen in slo-mo. Rather than open his mouth with several frames, open it suddenly and let his roar reverberate his face for a few cycles then shut it.
His throwing arm extends and shrinks back when throwing.

BANANA
Lighting is baked on, as if it's light source rotates with it. Don't rotate the highlighted edge with the banana.

Good tips Mathias : ) Try removing some frames for the arms movement, or do it like this: more frames for an initial acceleration (so little movements) and then a few frames with great speed (so big movements), dunno if that's clear : p Also, you could move his whole body more when he's throwing it, at least the legs
Bear with my poor english, I'm italian!
