Breaking the Silence

on: May 07, 2006, 04:32:57 pm
I've been pretty quiet since... the creation of these boards, and so, I thought it was about time I posted something new.

Very quickly made (about 5 minutes), but I'm actually quite happy with it - I hope you can all tell who he is.
10 colours, incl. transparency.

simple, sexy....i heart

if that only takes 5 minutes, then im sure you can have a working clone ready for us to play tomorrow? :P
A mistake is a mistake.
The same mistake twice is a bad habit.
The same mistake three or more times is a motif.

Intewesting. Linky boy. Its great for a 5min piece, but the palette seems a bit dull (and the green on the sword looks unusual). Looking at the perspective, it seems he's gonna fall > way since his legs are so far forward (might be intentional though).

What? I don't know what you're talking about...

It was a record for me, I usually take considerably longer on (nearly) everything I make...

Yeh, I didn't spend much time on the Palette to tell you the truth, and I'm sure it could be better - the unblance issue I can't see though... it's neant to be a more elevated perspective than seen in your standard rpg sprite.

//Edit//

Ajusted the contrast a bit.

It's kind of hard to tell what is going on with it.
And I am finally seeing that you were the one worth eating.

Is that a Boktai like perspective? Looks good, needs more detail!

Id advise adding more detail and i'm not keen on the 'just darkened' style shadows. A bit of hue and saturation editing perhaps. Nice anyhow, i like the perspective, just not enough life in it at the moment for me.

Why don't you try something different? This is like the fifth link you've done.

I mean, it looks good ... but nothing i haven't seen before.
