Very early animation [WIP]

on: May 13, 2011, 10:58:45 pm

What do you guys think so far?  If you think the animation is smooth and not too awkward, my next step would be to clean the edges and eyes, define the shapes a little better and then some AA.

It's supposed to be a dancing cactus that sprouts cat ears and eyes.  I wanted the eyes to lag behind the ears like ice in a glass of water.  Then a big smile will appear in the center of the face.

The cat won't be the only thing in the scene, though.  I'd also have a yucca cactus moving slightly in the wind, the a moon rise with some birds, then the cat starts dancing and the title appears behind.

The head is very static, so are the ears and eyes once they are in place.

Also it's leaning to one side the whole time.
