i like new better.  horns need extra highlight to round them.  i think i've just worked it out - the bottom jaw is supposed to be metal yes?  you should make the actual form more robotic as well, maybe more square, with rivets or something.

I agree that the new edit looks a lot better, but I find the new colours (mainly the yellow) a bit harsh. I can be a bit of a de-saturation whore, though, so take that for what it's worth.
The edit has way better contrast, and its metal part looks a lot better because of it. Like lief mentioned, though, it needs to be more robotic. Right now it looks way too organic; kinda more like gray skin than metal. You could probably also eliminate some grays, and take your colour count down a bit, but that's no big deal.

I really like his expression, and I love the non-metal teeth

ya thanks! , wont bother though, i think he looks more ugly that way, i dont want him to look like a perfect thing, i know it would look more realistic but, i dunno!
