I wouldnt say you havnt got the house to a good level, I really like it. I guess by the very definition of fantasy, no-one can say whats right or wrong. Thinking about the general fantasy style though, it seems to usually be a mixture of real world eras, with a lot of Tolkien-isms thrown in.

I found some of what I thought were good examples of architectural style. the first three links are places local to me:

They're probably a bit over fancy for what you're going for, but still they show a few elements which could be picked out, in particular the roof style (no flat bits), the height of the second level before the roof kicks in, and window variation.
As I said though, theres nothing really wrong with it, I'd concetrate on the points the others have made on things that could do with fixing.

Oh and I thought I'd throw this in, not a good example, but everytime I walk past it there are tourists taking photos heh:
