Skull

My first Skull,  The lighting angle is Center-Left.
Angle is straight on.
I wasn't going to super realism, just good shading experience was my goal.



What do you guys think?

My edit:

Notice how much more of a shape it has now?  Use the shadows to make the shape, not the highlight. You should use shades to define the various features of the human skull. For one, the forehead should be a lot more distinct as it would cover the eyesockets.
The same goes for his jaws, his cheekbones should cover parts of the jaw, meaning they'll look darker. The nose should also be a lot darker, since there isn't going to be any light whatsoever there. Structure-wise you got it pretty well-made, just remember that the skull isn't hollow. You should also recolour it completely, it will be good practice because that is what you seek right? :)

Well I messed with the shading a bit and tried to emphasize the shadows.
Also I tried to make the cheek bones and teeth more distinguishable.

The highlight makes it seem like plastic, I'm pretty sure skulls aren't that reflective. The highlight needs to be dispersed to make it like bone. Perhaps give the highlight a little more yellow, it looks kind of clean. You have a lot of unnecessary AA.

Just a quick edit to the lighting giving more emphasis to the eyebrow ridge, cheek bones, bridge of the nose and the sides of the forehead which flatten out with the temporal bone on the side. I didn't mess with the jaw and teeth much but right now they're almost invisible.

Oh, and the cheek bones are too round, the actual bones, if you look at references, are angular and square.

A bit more color (yellow) and I tried to define the cheekbones but I had a little trouble
