Older-ish work

on: March 10, 2011, 01:52:51 am
So I just signed up and I thought I should post something. These are some older things I did while practicing animated whachits.

Over the past year I have came down with pixel love in a BAAAD way - mostly due to my last year in school and we are aloud to pretty much work on anything we want. ( Also having another style to work in is always nice)

any CC would be nice but I'm not looking to do and physical changes, becuase these are from the before time...

( Thank you for the comments ^^ , Just taking them down for now -- going to  edit out some parts and re post neater images )

Very cool. I really like that robot and the detonation. The only thing i could say is the bell looks empty; it'd be neat to see the inner piece hitting/ some secondary animation.

You are good, very nice work!

The shooting thing and the monster's explosion don't seem to be aligned,
The box has too much HP for a box :P

Highlights on the monsters standing animation could be a bit animated.

Very good work

These are pretty cool. However, just pointing out to everyone else that the detonation animation has some CGA rotating and CG-AA thing going on.
Of course you didn't know a year ago you were going to post it here, so it's alright.

Otherwise good stuff.

Sadly we can't regulate against this happening, but it's really annoying to see art pulled after critique has been posted.

Have to agree with above posters, it's infuriating that people take away their old art just because they are going to improve on it. Half the fun with drawing is to see the difference between the first wip to the finished product, it gives you motivation too because you can look back at the shitty art you've made in the past and look at your current art and say to yourself that "damn, I've gone from that shit to this, I can definiatly improve even further!".
