Battlefield: Bad Company 2 GB mockup

So, basically as the title describes I'm starting a little mockup of BFBC2 with a gameboy palette and screen size. (4 color monochrome and 160 x 144 pixels) It is intended to be a topdown shooter. This is all I've got, more on the way.

The top portion is making my eyes blurry...
Playing: online RPG with  over 4 dozen pixel units and a ton of pixel enemies.

I apologize for the blurry image. tinypic sucks and thinks it needs to resize everything.

And, tilesets..well... about that. funny story.  :-[ I have none.
how embarassing.

Now that I think about it, I could probably make one, excluding the road because it's just a random line.. I can probably fix that.

Well to really emulate the Gameboy graphics, you need to make levels out of 8x8 pixel tiles.  I believe even large images like your start screen were divided into 8x8 tiles.  I think this has an effect on how tall and wide objects like that car would be, since you'd want to make sure to completely fill all of the tiles the car is made of.

Yea, I see where you're getting at. I'm just trying new things and learning. I'll try to redo one and make it with a tileset instead.
