Please tell me what the diffrent pixel art and sprite art?i dont get it..

I'm not one for semantical arguments, but I thought the term pixel art had come to mean an image made by use of pixels, as opposed to an image made of pixels. A sprite I think of as the graphics of a movable object in a game.
