Starship thingy WIP

Hello, new here to the thread. I used this as a reference and am turning it into pixel art:

the shading in the revised version is the perfect example of what is described as pillow shading in pixelart. You've used outlines to create a shading pattern and then consistently followed them in. Not only is it unnatural according to any kind of lighting, it is offensive to the eyes. One of the first lessons you should learn in all of this pixelling business is, do NOT do this.
