Robot thing

on: April 26, 2008, 02:50:04 am
Hi.

I really don't know how to improve upon this. I know it's crappy, but I don't know how to make it any better. I'm absolutely horrible at shading, but this is supposedly metal except for that one blue part that's a window.

Sorry man but I don't even know what it is :(, and thats probably the biggest problem that can appear. You say it's some kind robot? Is it a part? Arm, head? Or is it a whole machine? Tell us what it is because, sadly, I can't help you at this point.

If you want to know how to achieve some good metal texture and other various materials, you could take a look at: http://www.itchstudios.com/psg/art_tut.htm (also avaible in the Tools, Resources and Linkage thread).
Sorry for my english.

Sorry for the extremely long wait; I forgot about this.

I tried a new concept, and it seemed to work a little bit better; nonetheless, this is a robotic, hovering drone/tank of sorts.

I'm still horrible at defining metal, however. I keep reading that article, and it baffles me.

there was once explanation but error deleted it,
one determination but the hours defeated it.

will post the words that go along as soon as i wake up tomorrow and can think again.
A mistake is a mistake.
The same mistake twice is a bad habit.
The same mistake three or more times is a motif.
