Having a little problem with a poze more at an angle

Hi everyone !
Does someone has an advice about some sort of sitting angle or angles it self.

I was experimenting with it in other characters, but it was harder to make it with a whole body.


I was trying to get this position



I mean more of an angle. You can see that he is sitting more at an angle.



In this one it's easy to spot that it's not at an angle or something like that.

If you guys have some examples of sprites that I can check, I would appreciate it !!
I want to improve this poze as well



It's WIP, so if you could send some sprites from other games or something like that. I want to try to edit it by my self

Light gray is a front of the building, the dark gray wall is the side one.



Of course I'll change the color of the cloths,for more darker colors but I'm aiming right now for the angles.
Does it look ok ?

i think your colored image is pretty good,
just make sure you dont make the upper leg too thin:



im not sure if game sprites are the best way to learn anatomy,

The leg still seems a little curve, try to make be more triangle, basically the leg have a joint on the hips and another joint on the knee where is responsible to rotate the rest of the leg. And one thing that help me a lot while I started, too. Look for big sprites where the body is not abstracted. Sprites from Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, fighting games at all where you can study anatomy, also try to learn anatomy from videos where teach anatomy like learning normal art and try to repeat it (in pixel art of course).

I recommend put the eyes on pixel down or add one more pixel for the forehead.
