[C&C] Tiny mechs

i felt like drawing some robots. came up with a tiny animation before i knew it.




it's supposed to shoot lightning out of the small antenna on his head.critique is appreciated ty
edit: also added a blue floating thingy.

the leg on the left looks a bit off tho
looks like its just welded right onto the rest of the body
i think it might also need a bit of shifting perspective-wise
being the same shape and size as the other leg with the shading it has makes it look flat, while the rest has much more dimension to it

For the top one, the movement might look less rigid if you allow the thighs to move a bit with respect to the torso.

ohai, blue floaty thing

all that really pops out at me for that one is the... eyes?
lets call em that

one of them doesnt quite show up as well as the other one making it look odd
are they different colors?

new floating spheric-robo-thingy ( i really have to find a name for these things). this time it's a gas spewing bugger, a bit bigger than the others.

@Candy Man Criminal: yep, i just noticed that i made its eyes different colors *facepalm*. i don't really like its concept anymore tho. i'll probably scrap that version.
@piffany: now that i look at it, it seems so obvious the thighs are off! i'l try and fix them, but i really suck at animation.

Very nice shading on that sphere-roboter. I really dig the smoke, especially the choice of colors.

@8bitbeard: thanks i'm still a newbie to pixel art, so i'm doing my best. the shading of the gas seems a bit off to me though, but i can't tell why. it doesnt't look enough like gas to me, but i'm clueless as to how to improve it.
