grass..

hi im new to this site, and new to pixel art.. anyways, i need help improving these grass tiles. i really hope to improve in my work so im working on a top down rpg game with a friend. so i would like to hear what i need to change in these 4 tiles, any ideas?

Well, first welcome to Pixelation ;D. Secondly, you've got a good start there, I suggest adding another color. Which would be a lighter shade of green which would be the light source. Just don't make it too bright other wise it'll stand out too much.
I wish I could give more advice on what to do, but I'm more a 2D perspective guy.
