Heppiweed: An art studio looking for projects

on: December 22, 2006, 02:17:29 pm
We are an art studio, which consists of hardworking individuals, and where each individual has his/her own area of expertise. All of us are very enthusiastic in creating computer artworks, both as contributions to our client's projects or as mere additions to our portfolio.

Our team, Heppiweed, was established in March 2004 and is based in Indonesia. Indonesia consists of more than 300 ethnic groups, added with a long history of foreign cultural mixtures, which makes Indonesia's culture to be rich and complex. These foreign cultures also include the culture of other Asian countries, such as Japan, which is known for its greatness in animation, and China, which has a very long history.

Based on this fact, we are confident that we could create artworks which are original, unique, and of course of very good quality. We are very interested in creating logo designs, icons, sprites, 3D animation models, and participate in your ongoing projects. Please check our website on www.heppiweed.com to see the artworks that we have created.

If you have any inquiry, comment, or anything, please don't hesitate to contact us at developers at heppiweed dot com.

Pixel Art.. I do not mean to be rude, but calling that Pixel Art is false. First of all the pictures are saved in jpg, which pixel art should't be saved in.

That is really nice art, but its really not pixel art.

Anyway nice site, and nice art.

In the 'pure' sense, it's not pixelart.  But often times in the gaming industry, you'll find no one gives a damn.  (especially for modern platforms that dont have many colour restrictions)  This would be more considered "muggle-pix" as coined by DayDream, as he himself practices.  Note It doesn't seem to hinder him from getting any pixel-art jobs.

So in the purist sense, its not pixelart.  In the non-purist sense, it is.  -Though we aren't in a position to critique such art on this forum, but he's not asking us to.

With that said, I have no problem with his portfolio being here.  Again, as ZoSo said, pretty nice art man.  Keep it up.
