Space moais

on: September 21, 2016, 03:10:07 am
Hello!

I did a species of mountainous spatial valley, with moais.
I try to use another type of shade, of which I use regularly

I want to know your opinions

Honestly it feels kind of empty, like there should be something in the middle of all that . Like a spaceship hovering above the water or some kind of floating temple. As it is it's just a pretty but kinda focusless landscape.

Love the atmopsphere and colours! I agree its in need of a stronger focal point, and i think the pattern you used for the sky is a bit odd. maybe try blocking in some clouds, and you could use them to frame the beam of light (assuming it's meant to be the focus)

Those circle patterns and palette are marvelous, but I think you can make this beam a bit thicker to make a central point of landscape. Also I was never sure about gradient in pixelart... Maybe it's just me, but I think it shouldn't be used in this type of art... But I'm just a newbie, so I'm probably wrong. :P
