Hello everyone ! I took up pixel art for a while now but to tell the truth the things I do are way too easy (I pixel things like slimes , trees , grass etc) I've searched some tutorials on my own but I want to hear your opinion too :) It there any pixel tutorial that helped you develop your art?

there are tons of threads in this forum. All of them contain critiqque. Just reading through a lot of stuff might really help-

THere is an overview - Check out this (post #2 - end)

There also are sections - if you want to expand on your current trees and tiles (grass)

If you want to pixel more complex stuff, draw daily studies.
Real live observation and sketching - no tutorial will help as much as routine you get through work.

This might be interesting

(definitely check out the links in the description too - important stuff)

This is especially for beginners:

And if you want to expand on slimes or transparency - there are threads too (in fact there are threads for nearly every basic thing you want to draw). I Can't remember which ones exactly, but just looking through the forum could really help you.

You would have to search through my profile posts to find the threads but some of the "slime/transparency" critique images i did:

What about a mentor thread? You create a thread where you accept challenges from the community and you post all progress you make. That way the community can slowly mentor you and follow progress. That way we just write custom tailored tutorials for you as you go, in a sense. Start with posting these simple examples you already made and give directions on what you'd like to learn.

Tutorials lack soul and there's no good reason to go out and search for them when you've got a whole forum of people willing to help you along :)
