Nice pixels, Solid. Anatomy looks okay to me, shading's good (thought I'd maybe change the blackish selout on the shirt folds), and the colours are pretty cool, too.

It looks like you added a bit of ambient lighting from the fire on his pants. I'd suggest adding it to all of his body, and intensifying it quite a bit. Could make the piece truly badass.

First of all, thank you Tremulant for your comments & critics.
I'm glad you liked the colors  :D

Well I updated it.
Removed part of the dark sellout of the shirt, and tried to add an ambient, but i think i failed  :-\

Well, C&C! Good day.

The ambient looks a bit too strong.
Other from that I like it,especially the flame.

I really like this the anatomy does look right. The flames is good. but i agree the black in the shirt flaps make it look off a bit.
I'm new!

I typed up a big thing earlier but my computer fucked up and I lost it :P

Anyway, this is just a small edit to show what I meant about the selout on the shirt. I also got rid of a colour (the brown which outlined the arms/part of the face) and replaced it with the darkest purple (they were virtually the same).

Can't really help you with the ambient lighting 'cause I'm only new to it myself (never really attempted it in any significant way before). Think of it this way, though: the strongest light source in this pic should be the flame, and your shading/highlighting should follow suit. As it basically does, you should really just try adding a purple-ish tint to the highlights, or something like that. In order for ambient lighting to really work, your initial light source (say, the sun) should come from a distinctly different angle (geneally, like, the opposite side). Then you add the secondary light (the flame, here) and it all gets very confusing and my head starts to hurt. ;D

like I said before, very nice pixels. I love the linework, the forms, etc. and look forward to seeing this piece progress.

Thank you very much Sereth, the ambient was really too strong for a small strip of light, but now its even stronger haha  ;D

iEmo, thanks, anatomy is one of my biggest problems. And I think i fixed the flaps now.

Tremulant:

Wow, thank you so much for the edit, it really helped me to see where i was going wrong with the t-shirt.
Looking at it, I managed to improve a lot.
And now I took my time to really improve at the lighting.

And here it's my first try at it

Just to compare the progress. :)

Thanks everybody!
