Iso Tortoise + Mounted Cannon = fun

Trying to make a monster in isometric view, heres what i came up with

Edit:

15 colours including black and white.

I personally am quite happy with it, but feed back is welcome.

more contrast would be nice, and maybe some saturation and hueshift for pizazz. otherwise i like it :>

In all your work, your highlights are completely random. Looks like you did a sprite, then spraycanned some high-saturation colours on. I suggest picking a light source and shading accordingly...

That's what I meant by staticy in the other thread.
Kinda looks like a Bulbasaur...

Gil and Rymaru, The speckled effect i did was an effort to try to add a kind of glistening effect the the picture and i certainly didn't use the spray brush :P.  well I redid the shading anyway (with a little more contrast) and added more of a light source.

any better?



Xion Night, ahhh ok I know what you mean by "static" now :)

and, apart from the fact they both have things on there backs. i cant really see the similarity....
