Gil and Rymaru, The speckled effect i did was an effort to try to add a kind of glistening effect the the picture and i certainly didn't use the spray brush
. well I redid the shading anyway (with a little more contrast) and added more of a light source.
any better?

and, apart from the fact they both have things on there backs. i cant really see the similarity....
