Sorry for the double post, I had to bump it.

Edited a few things like you said and added a neck with a nice pink shirt. Problem is, Im having a hard time with those neck muscles and adams apple placements and such, Could someone do a few edits and show me what it should look like.

Adding a second light source would look pretty nice I think. A creamy pink on the right side
Huge pimprovement though, alot mroe depth, great use of the colors. Goggles still could use some improvement though.

Ah, I see what you mean. Forgot to mention my first face shade  ::)
Thanks for the spots I needed to shade, I'll work on it some more tonight.

Lovin the style. The zelda one's my favorite though, mix the zelda one with the BG above it and make a nice scene.

This is my first time doing this type of coloring and I need help on highlights and possibly further shading spots. Edits are welcome.

EDIT:

I completely redid the colors and went for a simple smooth look.

I love this idea, really neat. I love the dithering effect on your ballons. A few anatomy mistakes but it can all be fixed quickly. Besides its a clown right? Aren't they supposed to be goofy?
I did a quick edit to show how the lighting from your balloons affects the lighting on your clown. I hope you learn a thing or 2 from this. Im not the big expert either so I'm editing based on what I know.

The shading on the tail spike hair looking thing looks a bit odd. Also I don't think a monster with that texture'd detail of muscle would have his rib cage showing? I was thinking more of a firm solid mass of muscle. Last thing, those 3 weird balls to the right of the ribcage look like they shouldn't be there. Otherwise it everything else looks outstanding. I just noticed his front left paw is sort of lifted from the ground?

EDIT:
I played around with it for a bit and came up with this, it already has a weird muscle structure so I just blended it in.

Thanks to all who replied to this, alot. I think Tocky covered what I asked in a way, also, is there a website that shows the color scheme im talking about. For example the Pixelation logo, the yellow to peach, to dark red then navy blue blends well. Whats that called? Or From light blue to red to purple. And im using MS paint.

General Discussion / Can someone help me.

Ok, I've gone through countless pixels of really good pixelers and I don't seem to understand the concept of hue's and mixing colors. For example :

Amazing piece by Indigo, how did he know which colors to use that make it blend so well? I know he's a very well expirienced pixeler but could someone tell me or redirect me to some color tutorials that show how to blend colors like these?

Thanks

EDIT:

Another great pixeler is Tremulant, I think his work is amazing. The color scheme's are just simply beautiful.

Looks really good so far, the lines are just too "thick" ? Clean them up a bit, they look too rough around the chin area.
