I did this in about 3 hours (trying very hard) although I would like to make the body / eye more interesting.
I feel like my shading needs improvements but after several attempts I just keep ending up back in the same spot.
I'm kind of proud of the tentacles because I think they look pretty cool
but would definitely like any and all criticism.

you should add the guy in the tv screen to the screen in the top left corner. It would only show the corner of his hand, but would emphasize that virtual-esque feeling to it.

The smoke from the cannon shot looks too perfect and symmetrical. They look like flames and would look better if it was a a cloud of smoke traveling from the barrel outwards and dissipating.

I feel like the keyboard has been sawed off or someone took an eraser and erased the right side of it.
Maybe a grey outline like you did the other edges?

From browsing this forum, I found an amazing work of art: A happy robot stomping through the streets - while trying to catch an airplane. Very nice colors and pixel work.
I used to have it as my desktop background, but since then, have upgraded from a crashed computer and now I can't find the image anywhere

Made an edit to the handle to make it look more like wood grain. Also a version of the knife that isn't damaged.
