So I think I'm just about ready to start adding detail in to this sucker.  :D

I had to step away from this for a while. It seems I was handling this all the wrong way and trying to add in more frames for more smoothness.

I dropped a few frames that weren't doing me any favors, including the  extremes, since the frame right before them served as a better extreme.

So at this point, I've reworked the extremes and added in 2 tweening sprites to smooth things out. I'm thinking it's good enough to start adding in details and whatnot, but any critique before I jump into that would be nice.  :)

So I pushed his torso forward to eliminate the power walk look of things, but I'm still not content with the legs.
Something about the extremes and the frame before them seem off, but I can't figure out what looks so off about them.\

Also, sorry about responding late.
Work and dark souls have been eating up my time.

Certainly much better than my first draft, through still sloppy in certain places.
It also occurred to me that it looks like GBA fire emblem's mugshots. The proportions, it's a bust, etc.
I feel like I should mention that was unintentional.

Sexiness is subjective, of course.

I recently started this mug shot of FFV's Faris Sherwiz, based on Amano's artwork of here.
My biggest concern, and what pushed me to post this is the problems I'm having getting the hair to look like hair.
Any C+C would be appreciated

After seeing Arne's edit and deciding on reworking the pose altogether, I got a bit carried away and strayed from the intended design a bit.

And I must say, PixelPiledriver's edit looks superb!

Thank you for the feedback!
I'm really digging numlock's edit, I took a bit of inspiration from it as well.

Working towards a leaner look  as the previous was as stated before, stocky.

I recently started on a pin up of Metroid's Samus in her "Justin Bailey" attire working with nothing but her original palette.
Legs are very WIP, still a sketch more or less.
My main concern is the dithering as it feels like I'm not using it correctly.
