Oh. That's not a very good sign. I'll update with a quick picture.

I'm starting to try out spriting a bit bigger (a large challenge for me), so...I made this guy! I'm decently happy with him, though it overall lacks that pro touch. I know it has a lot to do with the edges and shading, but I can't put my finger on how to fix it. If you could critique this with all you have, that'd be fantastic. Thanks.

Pixel Art / Re: Post Apocalyptic ~Sandy-Door~

The sand color also leaves something to be desired. It seems really bright and cartoony, which is fine on some occasions, but I'm guessing that's not what you're going for. The sand also seems to just...crawl right up to the cave entrance. I think this is a perspective issue, but I could be wrong.

Pixel Art / Re: Tile set - Cliffs, grass

The thing that stands out the worst to me is still that the rocks just seem to be placed there, like the fell right out of the sky or something. Adding a shadow and some grass around the edges would GREATLY help.
But the tiles themselves do look quite nice! :)

Pixel Art / Tree C+C
« on: August 14, 2009, 08:09:30 pm »
I've recently begun practicing spriting trees, a subject that I have always struggled with, even outside of pixel work. But just for once, I actually made a tree I'm somewhat happy with. Not to say it couldn't be better. Not at all! If anyone has Critique for me, be it for the even the grass/clouds, please don't hesitate to go all out.
