Pixel Art / Re: R. Lichtenstein/comic-book style piece

Oh, yeah printing, sorry :s
I based my work on looking at some old comic, and I could see green, red, and blue. So I'm looking forward to that edit :)
Thanks a bunch for correcting me!

I think the belly button's a bit higher than that, and the groin area looks strange, but can be fixed by making it not as wide.

Hello people!
I'm doing pixelart revolving around a comic-book style of shading: I am trying to create colours by patterns of red, blue and green. It is hard and time-consuming, but nevertheless extremely interesting work, constantly discovering new patterns and therefore new colours and shades to draw with.
Anyway, I'm posting here for advice and comments on my work for now:

I've got problems with some patterns which don't blend in as well as others, and I really don't know how to solve it.
I'm also not quite sure whether I should keep the original lines of my previous work and create a series of different styles, or if this should be a new and original piece.

Reminder: it's more interesting looking at my WIP a little less than a metre away. ;p

Looks better :)
I don't understand the lighting on the tail or on the bandana end bits, if there's a frontal lightsource. I think you should give a bit of volume to the snout, it looks flat.

Nice :)
I would AA the teeth slightly, and fix the shape of that tail (it's a bit jagged). The tail coiled around the knife looks strange, maybe add more to the top right and AA a weeny bit.

Eh, fancy seeing you Zurg :p (I'm Timmehboy)
The shading's not perfect, and pillowshaded in some areas; I quite like the shading just behind the face. I would go for something a little less extreme than in Jakten's edit however.
I can just imagine Trevorius's idea in-game... good thinking.

The gun seems out of place, it doesn't look like it's resting on her shoulder. I think the gun should be tipped forwards or backwards, it just seems too straight and it looks like that was what started this PA off. The legs are awkward, the left arm seems too long.

Somebody's already said so but get rid of those outlines, they're restricting you, and not necessarily restricting you in the right way. For instance the lips aren't the right shape, the eyes aren't close enough together, etc...
