2D & 3D / Re: [C+C] Cyberpunk universe between heaven and hell

Looks really good. You need some more lighting on the two humans, as they are surrounded by lights on almost all sides.

Then the background is devoid of any lights, yet it's not as dark as it should be based on the fact that it's night time and there is no artificial lighting that I can see. I would make it a lot darker and put up a lot of signs like you did everywhere else.

2D & 3D / Recent Digital Animations
« on: February 27, 2017, 06:45:43 am »
I thought I'd upload some of my recent stuff ( since no one else is posting anything ). It's for an up and coming iphone game. 3 frame animation although one frame is just a mirror image. I had to do this to cut corners because I am also doing the programming  :blind: But it shows it can still look decent if done right. No pixel art used ( pixel art is dead, face it :P ). The fuzzy outlines don't matter because it just blends to the background, 32 bit color is very nice  :y:

Feel free to critique.

I now have an art video collection on youtube for those interested. It's mostly me making 2 frame character art for my current game.

I think you got the king and golem titles mixed up.

Thanks, should be fixed now.

It's been in development for about 7 months now. Hopefully only 1 month to go.

Love the crazy shield design and coloration.

Now that Fire Emblem text, though . . . it's so obviously made of cheap photoshop effects it really brings down the whole thing down.
Very much reminds me of what those new to graphic design might do.

Why not let the shield speak and just go with a classy, thin, sans-serif font all white; no bevel/gradient?
And dark background to make the shield pop, with perhaps a subtle radial gradient glow behind the shield.

Sorry for the long wait here. I haven't had much time to do side projects. I fixed the cheap photoshop effects and brought in some expensive ones :P or so I hope.

Also fixed the font, or so I hope:

It's called the 2D & 3D Board :P

Liking the opalescence of the shield, but the text seems choked by that outline.

Howabout this version then? Took the original title text from FE and put a bevel on it.

Hey guys, pixelation really needs a digital art section :)

I am working on a cover for a fire emblem remix album.

Here is what I have so far, was hoping I could get some feedback on it:

Pixel Art / Re: Some platformer mockup.

The background is just too intense, tone it down, maybe with less contrast and / or choose colors that are less similar to that of the foreground characters ( which I believe is only the guy shooting? ).
