Cute looking, but is that an idle stance? If so, the massive mit sticks out a bit.
This reads more at rest:

If you prefer it sticking out, try counterbalancing it with a more forward tilting stance.

Cool. Seems like a ton of colors though. For example, a 5 color ramp on that shield is probably overdoing it for an object that is basically flat. I prefer the higher lifted shoulder (sword arm) of the reference.

try pointing the feathers down at 45 degrees in frame 2, then almost 90 degrees in frame 3.
this will make the wings look like they are really working to press against the air.

try experimenting with an off center light, or directly overhead, even under lit for scary effect (clowns = scary)
basically anything other than this front lit source which creates "pillow shading" and will make some cry.
personally i feel i have been wrestling with some things about color.
i found "hue shifting" to be interesting and helpful.
i think i like the flesh tones you picked, but you could probably go with more drastically shifted ramps overall.

i think i will do some idle animations and barking or whatnot, but here is the main idea:

your piece, for the benefit of the readers:

i am doing arm anatomy too now.
your muscles are reasonable, but the shading is really limited with only high, mid, and shadow.
try another tone in the ramp and define the volumes more with chunks of shapes, and less with pure lines.
even if this is strictly a muscle exercise, i advise that a full composition will still give you more growth than isolating one thing.

i see no one has replied to this yet.
is there anything specific you would like critique on?
at first glance the naked animation makes me wonder if the girls cloths are burning off or something.
what is supposed to be going on?
the second animation does achieve a minimalist effect but i feel you could still make it more interesting or add more frames.
fonts seem serviceable.

thanks.
i cant seem to leave well enough alone tho, and have tweaked the colors some more.
here is the animation without the template i made.
still working on defining the musculature, but at least everything is blocked in.
i'm considering beefing up the limbs more.
also, not digging the airpunchwalk, will change more to a trundling sort of gait
