I really like these personally, and would love seeing them used. I felt my time was free enough, so I made some minus the outline/outer aa
(all of these could probably use major work, so feel free to edit indiscriminately)...and a big to you for getting things started!

Hopefully it's better now. Pretty sure t didn't get darkened this time... :P

EDIT:
ok, so take my word for it... It is fixed, but my stupid file host is being a jerk. It'll probably come back up soon... usually does.

Watch out. Everyone knows omni-directional vision is the first step towards world domination.

I gave the palette an overhaul. Not sure if it's quite what you had in mind, Dhaos, but it is what it is. ;D
Couldn't do much to add colours to the suit besides palette change, since its pretty much a monochromatic deal design wise. :P

I think the 'current' one might have gotten darkened on save, but I'm fixing it I fixed it.

Updated (first post).

I tried to fix the fingers up, gave snot his eyes, and generally reworked/tweaked the image. Thanks for the help, guys. More crits always wanted :)

hehe cool. Very brave choice of palette. Dunno if I'd be able to handle it myself, but then, that's why you're Helm and I'm not. :D

A bit hard to crit at such as is, but what's been AA'd on the lightning's looking nice, as is the face itself. I'm digging the the forehead's shading, too.

That floating red pixel near the top is the highlight for me. ;)

Oh yeah, good semblance too! (but the real Tesla had fancy-boy hair)

Minor Update (first post).

Tried to tighten the wrist, as well as touch up some stuff that was bugging me.

Thanks for the crits guys. I'll see what I can't do 'bout the fingers, Xion. Yup, that's snot :D I should probably give him his eyes, too...

Started with a random sketch which, for some reason, reminded me of Earthworm Jim, who I was then destined to pixel. :P

I'm actually pretty happy with this (mainly 'cause of the palette), and despite my recent habits, will actually  be working on this in the future. On that note, thanks and apologies to anyone who's posted crits in my last threads to no avail. I only really pixel for fun at this point, so if I get bored of a piece... y'know.  :-\

Process:
I have a step-by-step animation (it was up briefly), but the gif animator I have ruins the palette. Anyone know of a good (read: free) one that won't do that?

Hehe Helm, that's awesome. I had no idea that a little half-naked, half-cyborg chef could be so hot.
Your colour use, as always, makes me jealous :P

Much love for the finished piece. Especially digging the pallete and, for some reason, the little deals on the ends of its legs. :D

Oooh, very fluid. I can only imagine how sexy it'll look fully coloured.

The mouth movement is a bit too jerky, imo. maybe you could add a frame and make it rise and fall by another pixel or so? I don't know, but it really jumps out at me, seeing as the rest is so smooth.

Oh, and the perspective on the spikes is a bit confusing. Looks like they'd run up his back at an odd angle. The upper ones should be somewhere between his eyes angle wise, if you get what I'm trying to say...

Belly jiggle'd be sweet. Can't wait to see it finished.
