I am not touching the shading yet, want to make sure pose, proportions etc are right first:

Update:
Changed contrast, ending of sleeves, hair, right shoulder, legs, small tweaks to shading and other things.
(Right shoulder looks better now or was it better before? should I make left leg wider?)

I want to try animating it so I hope I got most of the polishing done.
First time trying to use AA(small amount), did I use ir propely?

I don't know what you mean by crosshatch texture.

I can't put my head around what's wrong with it, is it the proportions, stance or something else?

Experimented alittle here:
Made the thingy from shirt near the neck face other direction, changes to face, hair and other smaller parts, tried to "glue" the coat but I am not sure if I got it right.
Look at his right shoulder is it better on old or new version?

I want to get everything right before moving to shading, so far I am not happy with face and hair.
