Quite nice.

Zenobia is right, it needs a bit of AA.

If you would go without it and keep the "sketchy" look,
you should use attleast the same line thickness on the same object.

Nice progress here.

Your last ship looks like vic viper :)

I think the space between the "cells" in the red and blue bar should not be black.
A dark red and blue fits better here, basically in the same fashion the yellow bar is done.

Otherwise its hard to find(in my eyes atleast) any major flaws, simply good stuff.

Wow. I really like these.
Reminds me to do a little 3d stuff again.

Not that the current engine block looks unfitting, but personally i liked the nozzles more.
The explosions a great, look almost realistic. Maybe they take a little to long to fade out, esp. the biggest one.

From the technical standpoint I must say that some things wouldnīt work.
There are several spots with to many colors. Take for example the tree(where megaman stands on).
Here you have black, three greens and the low saturated yellow and green from the background, 6 colors.

Appart from the technical stuff, Some graphics could be done a bit cleaner. The hanging grass at the three platform,
or the stone on the left side for example. Your monkeyman is actually quit good, good readable.
He only looks not very robotic though.

Very good, only the stone tiles could be a little more simplify done. Like the background in your second screen.

the bird bot looks actually not very robotlike. Maybe show more the mechanical joints.

Otherwise great topic, but i like to see more backgrounds.

That retro means 'simple' and symbolic. I generally find this 'retro revival' thing awful. For someone that loves these games, they never went 'retro', they were always live for them. It's disingenuous.
This.

The whole "retro" thing is really getting out of hand. For young gamers it probably looks like all pre 1995 games were extremely simple,
without any storys, great ideas and can be played trough in a couple of minutes.
Dont get me wrong, im not whining after "the old times",just my 2 cents.

I already said it here, but why should it look worser than 7 or 8, hell it looks even worser than 6.
A good 16bit standard and i was fine with it. Its not like it demands a army of graphic artists.

I'm not saying megaman x is bad, by any means, but it is waaaay easier than any of megaman 1-6, that is all.

Well, i had a really hard time with it though :huh:
