Pixel Art / Re: Character Animation [C+C]

I think in between the neck and head requires some further distinction from each-other(I think mainly this is due to the fact that the color of the neck and the color of the hair are too similar), and the blushing cheeks might need to be a more noticeable tone? None of these are major necessities, it's just something I though was worth pointing out.

Other than the aforementioned, I like it :D

Not really [CC] from me, but rather a complement and appreciation:
It's flippin' sweet. The lip-sync and character's face movements for some reason impresses me a lot.

Basically, to improve, just have the character themselves react to the gun-shot.
-add a bit of body movement to give the impression of recoil.
-add a bit of lighting to show that the Character and the Muzzle flash are in the same realm of existence :p

I'd assume it's around $30 - 60 ?
Based on the complexity of the animation and fluidity, I think it would be closer to the upper end of that estimate. I may be off with my calculations.

Is this an hourly rate or the total cost of the sprite you are estimating?

I was thinking more along the lines of the Animation itself.
So hourly I'd say something more like $25 - 30 / hr

May I ask, how many frames within that running animation?

I think the sun should have a brighter yellow orange center and maybe a fuzzy, smooth, hazy aliased edge. You should try and emulate some sort of god rays effect coming from the sun. The gray around the sun looks weird I think. I like the color palette and shading of the rocks so far. The atmospheric perspective of the background rocks look good.
If you are to add the above, it's worth mentioning that you may also need to add a brighter tone to the sun hitting the foreground assets, such as the rocks and etc.

You're a life-saver my friend :)
Honestly, selecting all frames was something I didn't even know was possible

General Discussion / Graphics Gale Questions
« on: April 08, 2016, 10:04:23 pm »
Hey guys and gals :)

I know the general usability of Graphics Gale, and I'm content with what the program has so far offered me.
I've been meaning to ask:
-Is there a way to Add a Layer to All frames at once?
-Is there a forum or a place where people create their own plugins for Graphics Gale that I'm unaware of?

Thanks in advance :D

Pixel Art / Re: [C+C] Fire animation
« on: April 04, 2016, 11:39:29 pm »
I think you successfully gave this fireball character. maybe you didn't aim for it to look "Alive", to which I'd suggest editing the Right and Left side (Where the two fire bits on each side spit off of the actual projectile) to make it act less symmetrically. Basically, make the fire that comes off of the two sides fall off less in rhythm, and more randomly.
-Hope that makes sense :p
I do love it how it is though.
