McDonalds? I don't see no McDonalds but you're making me hungry now

Look at the link at the bottom of his post, I missed that first time I looked as well.

Okay, I decided to go for a different approach to tiling, and although this doesn't really fit the original theme here is a very basic approach on what I came up with (in game size):

I think in one of the frames a black line appears just underneath his eyes. I'm not sure whether that is his mouth or not. At the moment it looks a bit off.

I feel that the light needs a bit of work, I would have thought it would be more like this (quick edit)
I also played with the shadows a bit and made the man stand out more from the background.

One problem I see with this is that the art doesn't necessarily appear to be pixel art.
I'm no expert but as far as I know you have to put requests to do with pixel art here.  ???

Hi Letmethink!

Actually, I did quickly read the rules at http://www.wayofthepixel.net/index.php?topic=571.0 before posting to this forum. Still, I must have overlooked the part where it says the art had to be pixel related. I'm terribly sorry if you feel the ad is out of place. It was not my intention to offend anybody.

BR,
Marcus

Yeah, I had a quick look and I saw this:

Quote
Employment/Main - This identifies that the poster of the thread is offering payment for services related to pixel art, or game development involving pixel art.

However, it does not specify that it has to be pixel art in the unpaid section so I am not entirely sure.

I tried a really rough colouring of it but I' not really sure of the light source:

Pixel Art / [WIP][C+C] My first delve into isometric pixel art

So, basically I had my first delve into the world of isometric pixel art today.

I had this kind of strange idea and built it upon that. I'm not really sure how to make isometric textures though.

Here is the lineart.

Really I just want lots of comments and critisism on it. Do take into account though that this is my first isometric piece and was quick.
