Pixel Art / Re: Scenery

Instead of taking a shortcut and adding curtains, I would suggest to you to take on the challenge of making it feel calm. If you plan to make pixel art be it hobby or pay, mood is a key factor to get a grasp of.

Looks like quite a good dirt texture, it's hard to tell if there is a grid at all. However I don't like the triangularness of the shape. Try making textures with more roundness kind of like this:

Hm. I like the bulky-er build. I'll try experimenting with that a bit.

With Pix3M's permission, I have used his sprite as a base, and have built an animation form it. It's ok to me, but his upper body feels rigid to me, how should I go about fixing that? Also how does the sprite look in general?

Very good cool/warm shading. I think like someone else said you should go with more disorganized buildings.

Look at stuff from Aladin, not really in straight lines, more placed sparratically.

I'd suggest making the coins a bit thinner and then to make a stack make a darker line showing a divide and another edge of a coin under if that makes sense.

Kind of like this:

Adding on to the morning thing, maybe try adding some oak trees with some birds maybe in the morning. Have the sun just coming up over the mountains, and try use a cool color palette.

Yes that looks so much better. I like the top of your cloud on the left, and the general shape. Try to remove the lines, and make it one smooth shape.

As for feeling calm, thats a hard thing to do, but try experimenting with a cool palette.

To start off, the sky is quite blank, it's just plain blue, which isn't bad, but I think you could do with some clouds. The mountains look a bit odd, the highlight color doesn't seem to go well with the other colors, but maybe it's just me. From the bushes up your color scheme is very warm, but then you have the bushes which are cool, and have a bluish outline.

What specifically is this for? And what are you aiming for?

I'm still new, so I can only give you advice on what I see, not how to fix it. To me it looks like he has wings, and the feet look a bit awkward to me. The foot lifted up looks like the other one with just the bottom of the foot painted below it.
