As with most the people, I agree that edits should be done with learning purposes only.

As much as I'd like to, it's improbable (travel expenses and time). But I'd certainly love to be in one.

I'm going to check the neck further then, maybe you're right. I should try removing the golden ring to check its lenght, maybe it's creating an illusion to me and I don't see it as obviously, but I guess you're right, it still looks a bit long (considering the ring is quite wide). I also spotted some lines that can be improved a bit more upon closer inspection so I'll do another update to the piece, but I think I'll do it tomorrow, I'm a bit tired at the moment. Thanks for the kind words and the critiques Helm (and everyone). After that I'll guess I'll consider this piece finished and I'm open for starting a new one. I'm in a pixelling mood lately so I should just go and make it happen, I feel like I can improve a lot more now that I'm starting to get more motivation.

By the by, I think it's time for me to give more to the community, so I'm going to start to be more active in critiquing and commenting (and editing when possible).

See you all, take care!

¡Colombia presente!

¿Ven, que no todos hablamos inglés solamente? :)

Venezuela presente aquí, sería bueno saber cuantos latinoamericanos hay en Pixelation. Ya sabía que Camus era de Colombia, pero me pregunto si hay otros en este foro.

*back to english mode*

Tisha and Schu haven't posted here, but there's some other woman pixellers I've seen on these boards (or Pixelation's blue version heh) like Wayuki, Enichan, Noadi, Emlan and Blue (Chilly I believe). There may be more than that, but it seems the forum is mainly male dominated.

Does anyone know a site where I can find a shockwave flash version of the classic Pong game? Not any Pong "extreme" re-makes, just the classic, white paddles black bg version :3 Haven't gotten any luck searching for it.

General Discussion / Re: How often do you Pixel?
« on: November 11, 2006, 05:10:49 pm »
4-5 hours a week at the most. I'd love to spend more time doing it, but there's so much more I want to do. I know I should dedicate more time to this if I want to improve even more. Pixelation and practice have really helped me improve. I may not be the best pixeler but I consider myself fairly competent. However I should continue to work with the traditional art skills. Maybe the mods should create a poll about traditional art skills or time a week, that'd be interesting.

Moderate. I used to play a lot more before. But with college, work, girlfriend, various hobbies, there's less and less time to play games, although I still love them. I'm more interested in making them than playing them at the moment, too, but I still love to play with my console and PC. Games are like, my life heh

#3: I enjoy watching and participate when I'm able to. Sometimes the fad gets me in pixelling groove again. Fads rock :D
